Brzeće is a mountainous place located in the eastern part of the Kopaonik massif and territorially belongs to the municipality of Brus. The tourist development started at the end of the eighties of the XX century, when the Konaci started working on Kopaonik.

The main engine of development of this mountain place is the tourist center where all hotels, cable car and other tourist facilities are located.

The cable car, which is currently under construction, will connect Brzeće with the top of Kopaonik, which will enable skiers and boarders to join the system of ski trails of the Ski Resorts of Serbia faster and easier, but also to enjoy the descent down the slope of the ski trail Bela Reka I and II. Considering that the gondola will work all year round, it will be an excellent opportunity for tourists to enjoy a panoramic ride during all four seasons.

In the settlement itself, there is a gas station as well as a market, while in the tourist part of Brzeće there is a post office, police, ambulance and market.

Brzeće is 270 kilometers away from Belgrade and a little more than 100 kilometers from Niš.
