The state final of the Danube Insurance of the Youth Sports Games of Serbia 2020 will be held in Brzeće in the period from September 11 to 27 – the organization of the Youth Sports Games announced. The competition will feature boys and girls, who have achieved a placement in the highest rank of the competition in their cities at the Games tournaments.

The finals in all sports, for all other categories, in accordance with the Rules on the organization of the competition, will be held on the sports fields of the “Junior” complex in Brzeće, and the participants will be divided by sports, in three shifts. About 450 participants are expected in each of the shifts, and strict epidemiological measures will be in force, as highlighted on the website www.igremladih.rs, which must be unreservedly followed by all participants.

In the first shift, from September 11 to 13, the finalists in handball, Lino Dodgeball, tennis, table tennis and chess, will perform. It is planned that on Friday, September 11, SIM members will arrive in Brzeće, and Saturday is the day for competitions. On Sunday, September 13, at 10 am, at the end of the State Final, the semifinal and final matches will be played, followed by the announcement of the winner and the awarding of medals.

The same schedule of activities applies to the other two shifts. In the second shift, which is planned for the period from 18 to 20 and / or 21 September (the date is subject to change due to the planned TV broadcast), the finals of the Coca-Cola Futsal Tournament for boys and girls will be held. The matches will be played on September 19, and the semifinals and finals and the awarding of medals to the winners are planned for the next day.

It will be extremely attractive on the last weekend of September, from September 25 to 27, when volleyball, street basketball and beach volleyball are scheduled. The main day for the competitions is September 26, and the next day the best will fight for medals in the semifinal and final matches. This is immediately followed by the announcement of the winner and the awarding of recognitions.

This will complete the list of SIM players who have shown the highest qualities in this year’s Games season, not only on the sports field, but also outside it. It is known that winning and talent for playing sports at the Games is not a priority, but that the title is carried by children who, above all, show that they are well-mannered, that they know what fair play is, that they love their friends and respect their opponents. the most beautiful human qualities and that in these times, they are responsible to themselves and to others and to behave in accordance with all the rules, putting health first.

As a reminder, this year’s season of Danube Insurance Youth Sports Games was officially opened in Priboj, and the Caravan of Joy and Friendship visited a total of 27 cities across Serbia, where competitions in tennis, table tennis, chess, volleyball, handball, beach volleyball, street volleyball were organized. basketball and Lino games between two fires. As many as 177 tournaments were held during the season.

As in all previous years, this time the greatest interest was in participating in indoor soccer tournaments – the Coca-Cola Cup for boys and girls. Tournaments for boys born in 2005 and younger were played in 25 cities, and tournaments for girls of the same age – in 10 places in our country.

Earlier, three state championships, Danube Insurance of the Youth Sports Games of Serbia, were held, hosted by Priboj: in athletics, a game between two watts and in indoor soccer for boys born in 2009 and younger.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, Dunav Osiguranje Sportske igre mladih Srbije, managed to gather children this year as well and to continue the continuity of the organization of the competition, with somewhat different conditions compared to previous seasons. Adhering to the strict measures and recommendations of the Crisis Staff of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, in the best sports story in 2020, in Serbia at all levels of competition and in the organization of other activities, young people in Serbia continued the tradition of enjoying, competing and socializing in the best sports story.
